Anderson is the niece of Christeni Vineyards proprietor, Molly Adams, and this wine is a dedication to her.
Napa Valley is world-renowned for producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The rolling hills and mountain ridges produce intensely rich grapes and full body wines. Furthermore, the 2014 vintage was stellar in Napa Valley, offering long warm days and cool nights to produce beautifully balanced wines.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the star here in the Anderson blend, but 15% Merlot gives the wine more fruit aromas and a silky smooth finish. The 2 varieties had extended barrel aging to soften the tannins, then blended and bottled as the inaugural Anderson vintage. Enjoy!
